In an on-going case, police are not required to tell the public what they know or don’t know.
Sorry .. that’s just the way it is.
This current phone was not their “burner phones” .. it was their officially assigned WORK phone. The company made the mistake of not setting up the phone correctly .. if they had, then the company could have easily accessed the info on the phone. [I hope the company has learned it’s lesson.]
As for “burner phones” .. they were erased; smashed; and dumped into some body of water (I have forgotten where).
I know this was his work phone. I'm talking about any information we would have gotten on any other possible cell members that could have been gleaned from phone records provided by the network.
The burners I was referring to would have been the burners any potential additional cell members would have had, and whether or not they were smart enough to dump them once these two went rogue.
This is a main problem. People don’t really explain what they’re talking about .. and that can cause a lot of people to wonder why you’re going over stuff that’s already been discussed by others.
The key is - be precise. It’s important. Your comments didn’t explain what phones, who they belonged to, etc.
And these new people who have been arrested; I suspect they have already been checked on .. as far as any “burner” phone or other phones in their possession.
