In all of human history, there has never been an occasion when moral views were not legislated.
There is no choice about them being legislated. (forced by law) The only choice is about which set of morals is going to *GET* enforced by law.
That's a good point that I should have made clear. My point was that the left has been effective in changing our culture and society enough to the extent that any FEDERAL legislation of traditional Judeo/Christian values is met with hostility and demonization. The left has removed God from our society and convinced the people that having a secular king (government) is in their best interests.
For the most point Trump seems to advocate that it's the states obligation to legislate things that touch upon morality. But wow it seems like the feds have even removed the states from doing that.
