Gilmore has failed to get elected as a delegate to the RNC after being “assured” he would be, probably because he refused to take sides, Cruzers wanted Cruz delegates and Trumpers wanted Trump delegates.
Gilmore says he still plans to go to Cleveland. “Technically I’m still a candidate for president.” He only “suspended” his campaign.
Yesterday, I read that Gilmore will go to the convention, and I was surprised. I didn’t think he would be allowed to get in, if he’s not a delegate or alternate delegate.
