Rush is obviously playing for someone other than Team America. I don’t know if it’s even an identifiable group he’s pitching for.
It could just be that he’s mentally scrambled by a complex jumble of old alliances, friendships, agreements, stuck considerations, ego, jealousy, isolation, conflicting prognostications, personal biases....dunno.
I just know that he’s begun to sputter, and isn’t firing on all cylinders anymore.
One slight critique. It’s ‘you’re’ (you are), not ‘your’.
