“Man, that argument is getting old. Besides don’t you usually wait until Cruz loses before using it?’

This is just another version of the “60% of voters voted against Trump!” straw-man. That ignores the fact that if you add Trump and Kasich then even more have voted “Against” Cruz. I think that Kasich voters would split about 50/50 Trump Cruz as their 2nd choice. But even if Cruz were to get a 75/25 of Kasich voters Trump would still lead

In a primary the vote is a preference not a black and white vote. Thus a vote for one candidate does not ipso facto indicate a vote against another candidate.

In a general election that is the case. not in a primary

Yes, I watched that Luntz segment, and if that group is typical of Republican voters today, it is a sad commentary. The Trump supporters in the group demonstrated exactly the angry, ill-informed, emotionally driven and hostile behavior that the media and others ascribe to Trump supporters. They seem to be lapping up all the absurdities that Trump spews out all the time.

It’s been pretty well shown that Kay-sick voters do NOT equal Cruz voters, and vice versa. It’s a pipe dream that a “one on one” with Cruz and Trump would yield a Cruz victory in any but a few states.

Absolutely, plus that great endorsement by one of Indian’s favorite sons and Pence ‘ s cold shoulder to Cruz.

Well, I guess we’ll see Tuesday. And it seems quite fitting that Trump would drag out an obnoxious jerk like Bobby Knight to support him. Maybe Trump will soon throw some chairs or choke one of his aids’ neck, to try to out-tough guy Knight.

Cruz supporters and crickets here...

God Bless and don’t be too disappointed...it’s time to come together and save what’s left of our land...

The Cruz supporters were very calm, rational, polite, fact-based. But not sure if they can win in a fight when their opponents are punching harder.

Kasich voters are going for Trump since the little deal with Lyin’ Ted Cruz.

Losers always pick on popular endorsers.

Knight would be a hero if he supported Lyin’ Ted. But Knight is too smart for that. He knows a loser when he sees one.

6% is not close...that used to be called a landslide...until Trump came along and had real landslides.

Cruz is effectively Hillery’s running mate at this point.

Week-old poll taken before Trump’s landslide Acela primary wins.

Trump’s going to win IN by a blowout.

Yes, I would love to have a link to this poll. Watched FNC for a while and checked their site, cannot find it.
BTW, CNN has a story stating how Cruz’ internals show him down 8 to 10 points. Mood in his campaign is gloomy.
INDIANA PLEASE FINISH CRUZ ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

It is a key example of a state where Kasich staying in (despite not “campaigning” there) causes a vote split which lets Trump win with a plurality with a small margin.

Trump is going to win a majority of the votes in Indiana.

Thanks, that’s where I thought it would be.

By Tuesday evening, a majority will vote Trump.

IN is a GOP bastion... it has gone Democratic only once, narrowly for Barack Obama in 2008.

The GOP nominee will win it outright in the general election.

Bobby Knight is a beloved institution in IN.

Hoosiers don’t take kindly to your insulting him.
