And they are all either dead or in their 90's, and more concerned with their clostomy bags than the words Trump chooses to get across his message. In truth, most who actually do remember that epoch are fanatically behind Trump if they are still compos mentis.
I’m a student of history, so, of course, I knew the 1930s association. Even after the media flogs this storyline a bit, I’d bet if they did a poll, they wouldn’t find even 10% of the public that recognized the slogan’s historical roots. Of that paltry percentage, even fewer would object.
I’m sure Rich Lowry with his liberal arts degree will be appalled, but objections from clowns like him further strengthens Trump.
The way to counter the Lindberg anti-Semitic isolationist stance is to point out that after we entered the war, he devoted his full attention to helping us win it. In so doing he rehabilitated himself. Recycling is good, right? Well, let’s recycle this phrase.
