I will support Trump if he is the nominee but this Ted has to bow out to save party unity BS is BS.
The Damage is done and frankly at this point we may as well tear it all down.

I would suggest that if ANYONE is fracturing the party it is the Donald.

A fight referee sometime has to save the losing fighter from continuing to prevent serious injury or death even though the fighter believes he can continue.
Time for this fight to be stopped.
If it was still a “contest”, I’d still be pulling for Cruz. But it’s not. Weeks ago, when Cruz could reasonably have hoped that they both arrived at a contested convention with a bunch delegates, then it was reasonable to hope to prevail in a 2nd or 3rd vote, even as the underdog. But now, even if Trump doesn’t make it (which seems increasingly unlikely), it seems assured that the gap between their delegate counts would be so wide that such a strategy would not - and certainly should not - succeed.
So that’s “why”.
