I did not realize electing Hillary because of a contested convention was a conserative ideal.

Yes this a conservative site not one that supports people who are now actively helping Hillary - which Cruz is doing by staying in.

At this point supporting Cruz is equivalent to supporting Hillary, in so far as, they are both trying to stop the Republican nominee.

So Shapiro, Levin, Krauss - Hillary supporters.

To all you hopeless Lyn-Ted cruzbots Just remember, unless you can steal the election, Trump will crush you into dust.

You can't stop the signal, and we'll be in Cleveland to make sure it stays honest.

I can’t listen to him either. But this thread does remind me that I need to clean out the chicken house today.

~~Go Trump, GO!~~ ~~Go Trump, GO!~~ ~~Go Trump, GO!~~

You and many others seem to have all the usual rationalizations to explain away this embarrassment and black mark.

Right now Ted is siding with:

The GOPe
The RNC
The DNC
The Washington Post
The New York Times
The Lost Angeles Times
The Chicago (Tribute I believe)
The Wall Street Journal
Many other Leftist papers

Rience Priebus
Mitch McConnell
Paul Ryan
Lindsey Graham

Karl Rove
Bill Kristol
Charles Krauthammer
ABC
NBC
CBS
FoxNews
Rush Limbaugh
John Levin

By Proxy he also supports:

the Black Lives Matter Movement
the Pro Illegal alien La Raza Movement

Sanctuary cities
MS13
Illegal Alien felons and potential felons

I could go on. You know it too.

His infractions against the Constitution so far are:

1. Denies Trump his First Amendment Rights.
2. Talked down California’s State’s Rights related to Prop 187.
3. Talked down the enforcement of our borders in relation to Article IV Section 4, which states, “...the president “SHALL” protect the states from invasion...”

Further, he provided talking points the the president to defray criticism for not enforcing our borders by using “for the children” terminology.

So not only did he go directly against the U. S. Constitution, he used Leftist talking points to do it, and urged the president to do it too.

Cruz wants to be in the position to chose our next SCOTUS justices, but when he had a change to weigh in on a Supreme Court pick, he burnished John Robert’s “Constitutional” prowess. We know how that turned out. Ted even admits he really screwed up there. Give him more chances? NOT with my support.

Ted is unfit to be the leader of Conservatism.

As for Trump, he has all of Reagan’s platform within his own and more, and has championed at least 20 issues I have for my entire lifetime.

Trump hasn’t, for his entire lifetime. He is now.

I’m voting for him now.

A Conservative has his ear, and he has been listening.

Too bad some Conservatives haven’t picked up that same trait.

He might, but only if he gives his sermon in a women’s restroom.

Curious that The Blaze, run by Ted’s BFF, forgot to mention his involvement:

‘Florida Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio have also tried to help, the family says, but the results are virtually nonexistent. The State Department, which has a 2013 budget of over $51 billion, has also failed to make any tangible progress.’

Which of the three California lib politician scumbags in California, who Donald Trump gave $$$$$$ to, do you despise the most? Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris?

Sadly the main principle here has eluded you: bosses give money, lackeys take it. Which is your lackey cruise?

I can give you many Conservative businessmen and moguls who do or did NOT give money too the Lib/Dem gun controllers, the abortion supporters, the reconquistas or the tax psychos just to “stay in business.” The Koch Brothers, Sheldon Adelson, Justin Dart, Pat Boone for starters. Please, that argument/rationalization is so old and totally without merit.

Why did the man you support have to fund gun controllers or pro abortionists so they could remain in Congress? Does that not bother you the least? Cmon. Be honest. You can’t be that brainwashed.

So far I’ve only checked the first item on your list. If the rest of it is as accurate, no wonder you support Cruz:

‘Yes, the Koch brothers have given millions of dollars to both conservative and libertarian causes, but their PAC, privately held by Koch Industries, also gave to Democratic candidates and causes. The money is being spent on trying to influence the list of lawmakers which includes Chuck Schumer, Mary Landrieu and Mark Pryor.

The KochPAC gave almost $200,000 to Democratic candidates and committees, including just most recently in 2010. This included a $30,000 donation to the DSCC.’

http://m.townhall.com/tipsheet/heatherginsberg/2014/03/22/the-koch-brothers-give-to-democrats-too-n1812629

[Stepping out, so can’t check the rest right now. But so far, you’re a swing and a miss.]

Why is the man you support in bed with the Boosches? You can't be that naive.

Ted Cruz called California “the big enchilada” but he will be lucky to get even a small bite. Polls show Trump leading statewide with 41%, Cruz trailing at 23%, and Kasich at 21%.

A Capitol Weekly/Sextant Strategies poll shows Trump winning in almost every corner of the state, from SD and OC to northern California and the Bay Area. Cruz does better in the Central Valley. Trump has close to 50% in the Inland Empire and SoCal. Trump’s best with older voters >55 and over (43%).

The survey of 1165 Republicans collected answers from registered Republicans for whom email addresses are included in the California voter file. The poll also surveys 466 Republicans who have registered so far in 2016. Trump does even better with that group, winning 53%, to 21% for Cruz and 15% for Kasich.

Since Trump got to choose his own delegates, he assuredly picked loyal delegates. It is highly unlikely that there will be any Trojan horse lying delegates that will back Cruz on subsequent ballots.

This is not a state that will be easily stolen by a candidate that does not earn the delegates on election day-June 7th.
