In San Francisco, hundreds of protesters demonstrated outside the venue where Trump was about to speak to the California GOP convention. The crowds forced him to leave his motorcade and even scale a small barricade to get in through the back.
Many of the protesters were angry over Trump's stance on immigration. Once inside, the GOP presidential front-runner told the convention his entrance was "like crossing the border."
CBS News' Craig Boswell reports that with Trump less than 300 delegates away from clinching the GOP nomination, tensions are running high both inside and outside of the party. Establishment Republicans are accepting he could be their candidate, but opposition to the man and the message shows little sign of letting up.
"That was not the easiest entrance I've ever made," Trump said at the convention after protesters forced him to arrive on foot Friday. "Oh boy, felt like I was crossing the border actually. It's true. I was crossing the border, but I got here."

The reluctance of the GOP clearly shows the American people that the republican party cares little to nothing about them.
The GOP, by not actively showing protective support of their leading candidate for the presidency, is actively showing that the election is of no concern to them...
Our political system and political parties (or more accurately, the UNIPARTY) is so corrupt and elitist that unless Trump is elected, we’ll continue to see America slide down into socialism and the communism...The political elite will be happy to stay fat while the rest of the country hits bottom...

Every protester who was there and also was an American citizen,needs to be stripped of their citizenship and deported.
Mexicans need to stay away until invited into America. It ain’t that complicated. Make laws and follow them.

CBS is the most dishonest reporting out there, which says a lot. Nite how they mischaracterized the “protests” and “backlash”.

Do not waste your time expecting them to change. It is truly a foreign invasion, not immigration. An immigrant would want to be a part of where they were going.

The hordes of illegal criminal invaders (and future rat voters) flooding over our borders daily are sanctioned by Obama. (Much to the delight of Mexico, who is using the U.S
and it’s generous welfare system, to rid itself of their poor and undesirables.)
Obama has told the border guards to stand down and not interfere, and the invaders to go to a guard where they will be escorted into the U.S and given welfare- and no governor or politician has the guts to go against Obama. They’re afraid of him. They are PC crippled-afraid of being called racist- which would derail their gravy train.
Two of the worst offenders are Rick Perry, and now Gregg Abbott (TX)- who both promised to seal the border but have done NOTHING to protect Texas, that has had almost 600,000 crimes committed by these invaders.
Unless we get a president who will uphold our immigration laws and seal the border, we are done for. A country is no longer a country without borders.
Donald Trump, as president, WILL seal the borders until he can get a wall built. GOPe, Cruz, will not. His promises are as empty as those of Perry and Abbott.
Trump will surely run into lawsuits by rats, stumbling blocks and delays- but he WILL build it.
In the meantime, he will put enough border guards (who, for the first time in history, have endorsed a presidential candidate- Trump) on our borders and instruct them to stop the flood of criminal invaders- as well as vet/deport the thousand upon thousands of dangerous muslim ‘immigrants’ (colonists, Jihadists) Obama has flown in and distributed all across our country against our will.
