I think it comes from Rush’s brother David who is very religious and in the can for fellow-Evangelical Cruz. Rush knows Trump and is probably OK with him but David is adamant about Cruz’s holy destiny.

I agree. I always thought David and his zeal for Cruz have influenced Rush.

Now Beck, OTOH, is a complete NUT. I just watched a clip of Beck and 3 of his colleagues, all with bowls of crushed Cheesies. They put on swim goggles and mushed their faces around in the crushed Cheesies. Why? They said that if they did that, then removed the goggles, they would look the same as Trump.

Do these people not watch this stuff and see how they look and sound? What ridiculous nonsense - no wonder he’s laying people off.

Cruz is not an evangelical. Dominionists are a new, weird, Islam like cult that makes Christian noises, while embracing an analog to jihad.

Cruz quite properly got his flabby rear end handed to him across the South BECAUSE of the weird, false notes in his sanctimonious religious mash-up.
