Well, that leaves the Cubanadian out of the picture.
Indeed cats ARE the best mole hunters, an animal specifically genetically designed to go after moles.
If you ever played the hand under the blanket with the cat....well that's playing at catching a mole for a feline.
Problem is my cats are indoor cats. But they'd desperately love to go and hunt moles. Indeed in our other house in Merryland the cats would get out and always bring us back a mole.
I shall consider such natural enemies to the mole as it was my deceased husband who insisted on keeping cats indoors.
When Boner attacked the Cubanadian so publically and harshly, I figured he was providing cover for the little rat. How could he possibly be establishment if Boner hated him so badly...
Sadly, no. THAT’S my EX wife. She has ALL those things.
I’ve been using a really unconventional item on moles.
We have farm stores around here called Bomgaars that sell an adaptor that clamps onto your pickup/car exhaust tail pipe. You then screw an ordinary garden hose to the adaptor and insert the opposite end into a mole run.
Start your vehicle and idle for about 15 minutes. The exhaust fumes seem to exterminate better than the gasser bombs.
They also sell a mole trap made by Motomco that is really effective. Cost about 25 bucks. I’ve caught 3 this week using it.

BTW, I really am rather shocked that Peggy Noonan exposed herself to be so superficial today. I had respected her historical perspective on how important the office of POTUS was, that gravitas was essential. What a revelation that she even deems Hillary worthy of our trust!!!!
Moles don’t go diggin’ unless it’s worth it. If you have a lot of moles digging up your lawn or pastures it’s almost a guarantee that you have a grub infestation. Those grubs grow up to be Japanese beetles and other similar bugs that will ruin your above ground vegetation as well as the roots of your grass and other ‘erbs.
I say THANK GOD for moles!

I used to be one, too, but I've been taught by events of this past decade or two. We should have just whacked Saddam rather than take out the whole country.
As in, "We don't care if you need to mistreat your people when they're fanatic head chopping followers of Mad Mo, but mess with the U.S. and Hell will be in your face! And if you mess with our friends, well Hells a-comin', too!!"
And then if it still happens, less talk, more rock! NEVER explain and negotiate, just do it.
That to me is the best, Teddy Roosevelt-esque, foreign policy we can have.

So this makes me, now that it’s kind of later in the thread, share a personal reminisce.
For this coming Tuesday night I shall be practicing to be a Cantor.
A Cantor, in the Catholic church, is someone who stands at the altar and leads the congregation. I AM in the church choir and have been at this church for 11 years now and than some.
I was just full of myself when I agreed to do it, at the behest and urging or our NEW Music Ministry director, best friend of Rev. Thomas Flowers and....heh.
The story of the choir director....well I’ve mentioned it a couple of times on this thread but I shall not bore again. But he’s gone and it’s one of the stranger stories on the planet.
It’s about me, a widow woman being forced to tear down my fence and pay the New Jersey jerks five grand for their legal fees. It’s my mentally ill daughter managing to get an undeserved restraining order against me and no I don’t necessarily blame her. I blame the system that her manipulate it. You can believe EVERY Delaware elected official had me at my most charming and folks, I can be charming as hell when I want to.
But like me and Tom Petty say....I WON’T BACK DOWN.
Anyway....heh....I’m thinking....SURE I’ll get up there in front of the church, in front of 400 or 500 people, and sing the responsoral, lead all the hymns.....oh please.
WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?? I have never sung a solo, ANYWHERE....not even Karaoke.
Well I asked myself what the hell was I thinking when I signed up to go to the Republican thing? I asked myself what the hell was I thinking when I designed business cards and handed them out....calling myself a “social media maven.”?
Yet I am moving forward, am mostly happy, and there was a fellow or two showing me an eyeball last night. Who knows, someday I might even meet a man that ain’t a priest.
Anyway, thanks Onyx......it’s a true story and the truth is always purty.
Yeah, I’m going to do my Cantor thing. Our new Choir Director is my Facebook friend, loves my writing and “likes” every political post I put up....even that bit about Kasich being on fire and my refusal to pee upon him.
God has a plan for me, folks.
Because weird stuff keeps happening to me.

Oh AB I am not going to fight with you again over the voles versus moles.
We been on this thread so many years we are arguing the same arguments!
But you are right....I have VOLES and MOLES!
All living happily together, eating my shit, making me mad.
