This is a difficult position to reverse. If you say only sex as in birth certificate then celebrities will boycott. Companies like Target should avoid being social justice warriors.

Yes. Trump is very wrong on this. I hope he changes course and at least supports States rights to stop this. Sometimes I feel like the world has gone mad!

I personally don’t think it’s too good for culture at all, but I’m not sure I buy that Trump doesn’t know what his women customers think about this. And that might be the craziest thing about it. Maybe women really don’t care?

I am a woman, my children are grown and I am currently hoping to have grandchildren. I care very much about this. I have friends that are socially liberal and I have friends that are conservative. The socially liberal ones get wrapped up in their warm and fuzzies for people's feelings. However, when it's pointed out to them that all a pedophile needs to do is don a dress and say they're transgender to gain access to the ladies room that their daughter/daughter-in-law and granddaughters are using, they pause. Simply saying a transgender may expose his genitals to their loved ones isn't enough for them; when you point out that pedophiles can use this to their advantage, it makes an impact. They accept that transgenders are really women who are stuck in men's bodies. Unfortunately, social liberals seem to get stuck on their feelings and don't seem to take the thought process much further.

Well, by appearances he at least seems to have the same policy for his buildings as Target. I guess I buy that Target could just be doing this for social justice reasons alone and damn the business consequences. I guess we’ll see in a few months if they are really hurt by it. But I don’t buy that reason from Trump. He isn’t a dummy when it comes to business. So what does that say about his women customers? That’s the scary part.
