In today’s world, are parents still allowed to spank children, otherwise be charged with child abuse? Serious question.....some of the stuff I hear about parents getting in trouble with any physical discipline of children is very troubling.
Why spank when you can water board?
My children were spanked when enough was enough as were my grandsons. My oldest grandson, who had a real bad habit of talking back, also had numerous mouth washings with soap before he finally decided to button his lip. Everybody turned out just fine.
You are screwed if you leave a mark. Otherwise you are probably ok. No need to leave marks in my opinion.
