One night as I was walking in the door, a Chinese deliveryman on bike decided to ignore the light, and was fatally hit by a tow truck that had the green on Third Ave., literally right in front of the restaurant and everyone saw it - Didn't stay and order that time.
This was the same week I witnessed another Chinaman try to run across the street against the light and ended up under an MTA bus on Allen & Canal...
Most non-Gothamist have no idea how many are mowed down acting stupid on the streets every year, thankfully I've escaped NY and am back home in the Southwest.
Great place to make money, terrible place to live!
