What does “go Godfather” mean??
Scorched earth. Do anything (as if he hasn't so far) to diminish the opponent. In the movie, the Godfather ordered all his opponents to be killed, while he (the Godfather) was at a baptism. I don't think Bash meant it literally as assassination, but "going Godfather" is taking extreme action.
