Most say Fiorina VP pick won't sway vote It was an attempt to do something to change the polls, and it didn't work. I personally thought it was ill considered and he shouldn't have done it.

True enough but as the song goes, you have to know when to hold them and when to fold them. Betting into two pairs showing in stud is not a good idea when looking to fill an inside straight.
Cruz had a lot going for him at the onset of this race...the best factor is he was seen as the truest conservative. I don’t know what happened to him. Someone should have polished up his image. His playing the Elmer Gantry role did not help and perhaps hurt him a lot.
