Cruz may be out of the primary race-—don’t get complacent now though! It’s not a done deal that Trump will be the actual nominee. The committee selected from within the GOP , sort of like the super-delegates of Democrat fame, have opportunity to stack the deck yet for the convention.

It would be a big mistake for the RNC to make it so obvious by selecting another candidate, either Cruz or Kasich, at the convention. You are talking about the possible 30 or so per cent of the conservative voters voting liberal because Trump won where you can expect a far more amount of voters, closer to 60% of the conservatives voting for Hilary in the general election because Trump was cheated of the popular vote in the primaries and that he more than doubled anyone else’s success there. My father used to call that “cutting off your nose to spite your face.”
