The TSA and Homeland Security are probably the worst actions of the Bush the 2nd era.

One of the first acts of President Trump should be to eliminate the Bush gang’s absolutely asinine Department of Homeland Security and move any of its legitimate functions to other departments that existed before 911 occurred.

Not only is it budget time, the federal bureaucracy is as politicized as it has ever been, which is one of many reasons why an effective minority party is necessary (and also, why it matters who gets elected president, but you knew that).

This isn't the first time the U.S. has been "polarized." Before, during and in the decades immediately after the Civil War. There's more than one way around the Hatch Act.

They are trying to force everyone into the TSA Pre program that costs $85 and requires that you be fingerprinted like a criminal. They are slowly trying to get everyone’s fingerprints and that will likely be followed by DNA.

We all know that the TSA doesn’t really provide security. The TSA’s actions change both the screeners and the screened into populations that earlier generations would not have recognized as Americans. It’s a real life, large scale, though currently low intensity, version of the Stanford Prison Experiment. Just another way to fundamentally change America.
