Not that they will literally cross over and vote for Frau Clinton, whom they do hate, but whether they can literally bring themselves to vote for Trump who has spent the last 8 months insulting them and their beliefs is a tougher call.
Look there have been lots of things said by both sides during the last few months.
Now is time to oppose the democrats. At some point, it is about defeating the democrats.

I think the grassroots conservatives and people who did not like Trump because they feel he is liberal will support him against Clinton.

Deja vu - Romney. Romney was the party’s fair haired one and many of us voted for him not because we liked him but because we didn’t want Obama to win. Well now the table is turned and let’s see if the GOPe do the same.
