Perhaps we ahould “have a conversation” about these hoaxes.
Oh, sorry, that’s not what liberals want to “have a conversation” about.
Somebody needs a slap in the face.
People don’t even know what real racism is anymore. Which would be a good thing if people didn’t act hysterical over perceived potential racism.
These hoaxes are not random, accidental events.
Rather, they are intentional, purposive acts designed to precipitate a response—preferably violent—and further a leftwing political agenda.
The perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted as far as the law permits.
Hate-Crime-Hoaxes should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
They waste resources, ruin reputations, and cost more to society than can even be calculated.
Those who perpetrate such hoaxes should be held up to public shame and ridicule.
Time to bring back the stocks and the pillory! (Figuratively, of course! :-) )
But it did, didn't it? And as long as it does, the behavior will continue. Kindergarten teachers know that but university staff and faculty, not so much.
