It wasnt because he didnt support Reagan, he was just too lazy to register to vote.
It sounded like he was coming to grips with the reality of the results, but the Trumpsters just sound like sore winners as they continue to complain and try to silence each and every opinion that is not in lockstep with theirs. Just my observation.
It was a requiem mass for Cruz.
The Republican convention will be really interesting. The party will unite or the democrats will have a permanent win.
Not a chance...
Look, I like Trump. I predicted last July that he would likely “shoot the moon”, and now he has. I voted for him, and will vote for him in November. That said, although he is conservative on the issues you mentioned, he is not conservative on other important issues... and I’m ok with that. I don’t want to lose with a rigid ideologue.
All in all, I think Rush has boosted Trump, and certainly been very fair to him.
I read all the comments on this thread.
Several deleted ... *sigh*
I am so happy I decided to take a pass on listening to Rush today.
I knew it would be a bummer.
I agree with much of what you said here, but if you think Rush believes that conservatives “should just be one mindless block doing what some leader says without questions”, then you don’t really understand what Rush is saying...
That is nearing epic

You nailed it! Excellent post!
You’re right. I was thinking it was when Trump started talking about the 28 redacted pages of the 911 report, but it was earlier. He said 911 happened on Bush’s watch and Rush went ballistic.
Oh Red, I’ve observed that too! And I think O Reilly asked Trump that question last night about Kasich. Almost in the same words....as well as about Cruz.
*sigh*
Good point about overreactions based on not very good intel which happens too often.
Profound statement there.
So far today (May 5) we have a Cruz-free Rush Limbaugh. As should be expected since Cruz is now yesterday’s news...
I meant to say we have a Cruz-free Rush Limbaugh SHOW..
Yeah, but this “Oh, woe is us. Trump’s the nominee, and we just have to live with it.” isn’t exactly what I’d call an improvement.
Yes, but most of the Never Trump RINO losers I've heard have said that they will not VOTE for Trump in November. Some have hinted they might even vote for Hillary. Massachusetts RINO Gov. Charlie Baker is one example among many.
At least Karl Rove said on O'Reilly last night: "I don't know if I'll vote for Trump. I'm taking a wait and see attitude for now. There's plenty of time left to decide."
Then Rove went on to discuss Trump's very impressive recent wins, especially in the NE "Acela Primary".
I haven't yet heard the Mayor of Realville (Rush) make similar comments yet, nor have I heard Rush congratulate Trump on becoming the presumptive GOP nominee.
Same here, and turning Rush off is something I very rarely do. On Wednesday I tuned in expecting a very interesting show... instead it was probably Rush's worst-ever show... at least what I heard of it was.
And I understand Rush never congratulated Trump on winning the GOP nomination (vs 16 other very talented Republicans no less!!).
I briefly supported Cruz many months ago, but it was obvious to me really since Day One that Cruz had no chance vs. a Dem in the general election. Good riddance to him as well. I'm surprised he made it as far as he did.
We agree on so much, nutmeg!
