i always was able to count on rush being smart. That’s what’s so off now

The past weeks with ‘the trumpists’ hatred. What’s to hate, anyway? Trump is out there trying to wrestle the country back. Maybe he’s a lying fraud, but he never has been one, and which one of his opposition isn’t?

Some callers of late call in, their voices shaking, talk for entire paragraphs about rush’s being off, before he disputes them. And his point is always off

His wrong-ness is amazing. How could people like rush not plan on conservatives supporting trump?

So he’s not a bona fide conservative. He doesn’t claim to be one. Thirty years after the bushes took over making a mess of it, we’ll take anyone that will seem like they’ll put an end to it.

How could rush have been so wrong about something so vital?

How could any thinking pundit not have seen trump’s candidacy?

What was their plan for now?

IMHO, it was Rush Limbaugh’s JOB to bring in the votes for Cruz. I can imagine how impotent he is feeling right now.

Rush has a massive ego. By failing to persuade his listeners to be in lock step with his opinions, has to be a major blow to said ego.

I recall he has always denied controlling the opinions of his followers because they were able to “think for themselves” - did he ever really believe that?
