1—The monarch (thank god) has no power. So silly ideas of Liz driving back the Moozlims like some 21stC Henry V are laughable.
2—We British here keep telling you its nowhere as bad as you think, but people either ignore us, call us deniers or simply wont listen. The UK is 96% NON Muslim, over 90% white. And that’s after nearly 70 years of Muslim and other ethnic immigration. Whilst the UK clearly has a serious issue with young radicalised Muslims, this notion the UK is going to be or already is some Muslim state is utter nonsense.
And voting in a mayor in one city who is Muslim dosent change this, anymore than you voting Obama makes the US a Muslim state.
3—Charles is no idiot nor is he a Muslim, or a Muslim sympathiser. I have met the man, and Naturalman1975 is a close personal friend. I do not agree on all he says, but I and most Brits support his comments on architecture for example. And he is a supporter of all faiths, the Muslim garb pics you see here are cherrypicked amongst hundreds a year of him in various religious garb. He is no more a Muslim than he is a Jew, Buddhist, Sikh or Hindu.
4—William is Charles’s direct heir. Not Harry.

In all seriousness, thanks for the post. I don't agree with everything you say (especially about Charles...he visited my region some time ago, and I was not impressed at all).
Anyway, it's always good to hear your perspective.
Side note: Just before I checked my FR messages, I was listening to Jo Stafford's Songs of Scotland CD. Then I saw your post. A coincidence, or a sign that I should defer to you regarding Charles?
