I think we need the wall.
Actually, we do even if we have strict no-tolerance enforcement. We need something to stop the ‘overs’ of expended munitions coming across from the cartel wars in Mexico. Not just bullets, either - US law enforcement has had RPGs and SAMs launched at them from the Mexican side of the border while the LEOs were in the US.
BUILD THE WALL! and have Mexico pay for it.

Yes you do, when you’ve told your country that that’s what you intend to do. This isn’t about money, or even the effectiveness of a wall, it’s about doing what you said you were going to do! Besides the Effing Mexicans are going to pay for the wall, and that is also because we’ve been told by Trump that that too is what he’s promised and hence what he will deliver. Besides, I’d love to see all the rich “white beaners” in Mexico City looking like they’ve just hoovered a turd!

You don't realize it but your comment is self explanatory. We are not enforcing those laws for political reasons. That is exactly exactly why we need a non political solution. The solution, at least a big part of it, is a physical wall. We need that wall and we want that wall. You couldn't be more wrong.
