So Trump lent himself money for the primary...

Nothing new here. This was reported on before and expected.

Trump shouldn’t use his own money for the general.
To: ifinnegan
He will win and make Rinse pay for it!

Not all entirely old news... the idea he would get his rolodex out and solicit his millionaire buddies is new.
To: 11th Commandment
Pretty cool, huh? He finances an all-time low spending campaign-—something like 1/3 of what Cruz spent-—and the only money he owes is to himself.

I’m ready to start my monthly contributions to Mr. Trump’s campaign for the general.
To: 11th Commandment
It was his own money to lend to himself out of his investments rather than cash them out
and so how does that offend you?
Time for the rest of us to help him finish the job of taking down the Clintons

I wouldn’t spend a billion of my own money in a million years.
if i was worth 10 million, i would spend 1 million on a campaign.
i dont blame him.

Last night he said he would be raising money for the Party, but hadn’t decided about whether to self-fund his own campaign.

Trump shouldnt use his own money for the general. And apparently not for the primaries either when he pays himself back several millions....
To: LS
I read he spent $.13 per vote in Ny
Sanders spent $9 per vote

Of course Trump shouldn’t have to pay for the general election. He won the primaries on his own nickel and he should be funded just as your boy Lyin’ Ted would expect.

and so how does that offend you? Because, he is not self funding as promise. We will end up putting less into the race than Romney....
To: ifinnegan
How do they threaten or coerce him?
by saying they wont finance his next election?

> lent his campaign $36 million of the $47 million he spent
Hmmm, if he “lent”, then he’ll have the option of getting paid back. OPM prevails.
