Trump says he is. The problem is, Trump’s actions say otherwise.
So do Cruz’s actions. He was a policy advisor to Bush. The Bushs are not conservatives. Neither is TPP or the Corker Bill.
The other stuff was just yap to claim he was a real conservative.
I remember a day not to long ago, right before Iowa, when the Senate was voting on a crop insurance bill.
Ted voted one way and when informed it may not go over with Iowa voters, he went back and changed his vote.
That is the real Cruz. A pretender to a conservative mantle he fashioned for himself to fool people.
What actions might that be? Advocating America first? Stating that we need to stop Muslim immigration for awhile? Building a wall at the border? Saving Americans jobs?
Or perhaps, helping people without media attention? Or insisting on caring for our vets? Perhaps raising money for the vets?
Saying if we don’t have a country of laws, we have no laws? Wanting to rebuild our infrastructure? Perhaps worrying about Christians being killed in the middle east?
Maybe supporting our police? Just what actions say he is not a conservative? What paints him as a liberal?
