I am sure that our hemisphere’s equivalent, Venezuela, has many doing much of the same for the same reasons! And then we have Sen.B.Sanders who thinks everything is wonderful with Socialism - sheesh!

Are we running out of other people’s money yet? If not socialism still has time to “work”.

Does anyone remember a lady from Zimbabwe who posted here occasionally? I’ve often wondered what happened to her.

I remember her! My Goodness, that must have been 12 years ago or so. She gave insightful commentary on the destruction of Zimbabwe (didn’t it used to be called Rhodesia?). She was a white wife of a farmer as I recall. She’s probably dead would be my guess.

This is where Obama wants to take the USA:

The 100 trillion Zimbabwean dollar banknote ($1,014 dollars), equal to $1,027 pre-2006 dollars.

The country was called Rhodesia until 1979, and Harare was called Salisbury.

Zimbabwe is Exhibit A as a warning to other leaders in Africa who contemplate overturning democracy in favor of dictatorship. One of the reasons Zim’s problems are so bad is Robert Mugabe’s brutal oppression of whites, particularly white farmers who have been murdered and/or forced off their land and then replaced with people who don’t have a clue of how to run a farm. Mugabe is also anti-British and anti-United States which has only deepened the country’s economic crisis.

I’ve only been to Zimbabwe briefly but was there long enough to see that most Zimbabweans seem to be hardworking, intelligent and resourceful people. One Zimbabwean told me that they hate Mugabe but there’s nothing they can do because he’s a dictator.

Countries like South Africa should take note of what happens through wealth ‘redistribution’ and other such undemocratic things.

Hate to tell you but the ANC will be replaced with the white-hating, commie EFF soon.

Rule number one if you want to be a farmer.. You have to get up before Dawn and don’t plan on sleeping for the next 16-18 hours. Many if not most of the “new Farmers” cannot get past rule one.

Obummer to the rescue. And thanks, John Boehner for not shutting down the Ex-Im Bank when you had the chance.

Not like the ANC was not white-hating and communistic all by itself.

I was thinking that they should invade Nigeria — From the emails that I’ve been getting, I’m sure that they can shake down the innumerable widows of former finance ministers for all the dollars they’re ever going to need.
