If Trump wins the Presidency, the Bushes will switch parties to where they belong.

No, Jeb is going to disappear. Vanish. You won’t be able to find him with the FBI. He will be gone from public office.

7 years, while the country is being dismembered, they’re quiet... Now, when we have a chance to take the country back, they decide to take a stand...

It's amazing how the Bushes, like Mitt Romney, could hardly bring themselves to say one bad word about Obama or Hillary, but suddenly unleash their righteous anger at Trump. It isn't even Trump that they hate. They hate the fact that the voters, not they and the party, chose a nominee this time around. People like the Bushes and Romney would much rather have a Democrat in office than see a candidate who isn't one of their own be elected. Remember, to the GOP elites, the Democratic establishment is just a polite and thoroughly loyal opposition (and vice-versa). People who have the audacity to select their own candidates and their own favored policies are the enemy.

Yup. That’s about right. Sorry I ever stuck up for Dubya out here (and I did, many times).”

I’m sorry you stuck up for him too !

Only kidding Hale, you are a true pal of mine here. but I have been trashing Jorge and Daaaaddy for a dozen years, and proud of it.

“...amazing how the Bushes, like Mitt Romney, could hardly bring themselves to say one bad word about Obama or Hillary, but suddenly unleash their righteous anger at Trump....”

F*** ‘em. Cowards who fight harder against OUR interests than against the people trying to tear us up.

I never liked Romney; during the last election cycle, he was the absolute worst choice.

Dubya, I’ve defended out here. I always thought he was a decent American, though much maligned. But his ... LACK of outrage and silence over the last few years has been at the LEAST disappointing and at worst complicit.

“...They hate the fact that the voters, not they and the party, chose a nominee this time around. ...”

Yes, CLEARLY our “betters” are “Somewhat Concerned” about the petty bourgesoise uprising that appears to have occurred.

Reiterate: F*** ‘em.

Trump speaks for me right now. My giant middle finger to all of them.

If nothing else, he’s shown us who we can trust (to a degree) and who the rest really are.

Well, maybe I’m a little more naive than others sometimes; I try to see the good in folks too much, maybe. I remember him with the troops, and the wounded boys, and it was a much different image. But looking back, there were multiple opportunities to voice his opinion - both as a former governor and former President - on the direction Jughead was taking us - and he tucked tail.

And now this crap w/Trump. It’s just BS.

“...a true pal of mine here...”

To quote the Late Great Telly Savalas: “Who loves ya, baby!!!” Haha!

I would assume that the Bush’s are just beating Trump to the punch.
(As if Trump was ever going desire their involvement?)

I knew that W. was going to be bad news with his “compassionate conservatism” from the get-go, but I really had no idea just how bad he was going to be until about 4 years into his Presidency. It wasn’t until then that it became clear that his Middle East agenda had more to do with “nation building” and less with national security, and that on most matters of domestic policy he was as bad and sometimes worse than Bill Clinton. I really started to detest him after “see you at the signing” (ever notice how amnesty for illegals was just about the only time W. managed to be articulate and passionate about anything) and in his final months when he and Barney Frank partnered to give their cronies on Wall Street billions of taxpayer dollars. Most of W’s policies, especially in his second term, were a segue for Obama’s agenda.
