Good post there. I agree with every part of it. You make particularly good points about the stress and danger of the situation.

But as for suing for discrimination, I don't think that would fly. You can sue for discrimination only if the discrimination involved a category specifically mentioned in the law (race, gender, etc).

I don't think political affiliation is a protected category. But I'm no lawyer. I might be wrong.
