What’s funny about Cruzers spouting the nonsense about Trump’s “amnesty” is that Cruz’s CYA Gang of 8 amendments can be taken either way. It was slick lawyer move designed so he could play both sides of the issue. So he could later claim he either made the bill better or he helped defeat it.
