Trump Supporter Sen. Jeff Sessions: Paul Ryan Made “Big Mistake” Not Endorsing Trump (VIDEO)
Gateway Pundit ^ | 5/5/2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 05/06/2016 11:13:36 AM PDT by GilGil

“ Sen. Jeff Sessions said Thursday night that House Speaker Paul Ryan made an error by saying he’s not ready to support Donald Trump yet, and said Ryan and other leaders need to realize the Republican Party is shifting under their feet.

“I think this was a big mistake, I really do,” the Alabama Republican said on Fox News. “And I’m very surprised, frankly, since he’d indicated he’d support whoever the nominee was.”

“The speaker of the House is a big leader, an important figure in the Republican Party,” he added. “He calls on House members every day to stand with him and unity, and he needs to set a good example for Republicans.”

Ryan shocked political observers by saying he wasn’t ready to endorse Trump, and Trump followed by saying he is “not ready to support Speaker Ryan’s agenda.” Despite the bluster, reports soon followed that the two are trying to arrange a meeting.

Sessions is the only guy in the Senate that I trust. As for Ryan, he is hiding out today. His voicemail is apparently so crammed with messages lambasting his disrespect for Trump voters that it cannot accept any more traffic. He needs an earful for breaking his clear promise (I’M SHOCKED!)
to support out nominee.

Here are his numbers:

She would make a great cabinet position, EPA secretary perhaps.

Yes, she certainly would; I agree. But you too-quickly dismiss a potentially dynamite running mate for Trump, Sarah taking a lot of press flak in his place, and she's someone who can most definitely be President of the United States now if needed and later if not now.

That is a big downside. Sessions is too old. Duncan Hunter might work.

Ryan made a HUGE mistake - he needs to get onboard now, even before they meet next week or the Sunday shows will dig him deeper and he may not get out.

Really? What is Rush going to talk about for the next year after insulting trump and his supporters for months?

Ditto Levin, FOX The ballot box is only one aspect of public support.

Why wouldn’t Ryan support Trump?

Because he's an ass.

I like Ryan for the Walmart greeter job.
It’s where he needs to be.

He could pick a bureaucrat with decades of behind the scenes experience in several departments.

Such as former U.S. Senator Jim DeMint, 64-year old President of The Heritage Foundation.

I know you like her, many like her. I still like her. I see no synergy there. Just distractions.

Nope. Cheney was never going to be president. He could have taken over but never run. That’s the first consideration. GOPe will try to foist some home boy on trump with these same tired arguments intent to rid the world of America and the constitution. Trump has less reason than ever to listen to the, take a meeting whatever. They are third party now. They’ll be the last to know it

The next election and who follows trump is not as important now sorry

Let’s keep those postcards flowing... to Paul Ryan (and our local reps and senators)... Every Monday until Ryan and all the others are “ready” to support Trump.

It’s not over until Trump is actually the Republican nominee, not just the “presumptive” nominee. Everyone stay focused, and keep voting Trump in the remaining primaries. Keep focused until February 2017.

Postcards to:

Spkr. Paul Ryan
1233 Longworth HOB
Washington, DC 20515

This is what I’m writing on my postcards:

Support Trump2016
- or we vote DEMOCRAT down-ballot in November!
#MAGA

That would be WAY to awesome to Actually Happen.

I admit Jeff Sessions is at the Top of My List for V.P.

But as you say, He would cause a lot more Hell as Senate Majority leader :D

I see no synergy there.

Like the synergy between O and Biden? Or the synergy between Hitlary and Sanders?

We disagree on Palin's qualifications to be Vice President January 2017 and President sometime thereafter. I'd vote for the Trump/Palin ticket in a heartbeat, whereas I had to think a while before voting McCain/Palin.

A Free Republic habitual Palin naysayer or faint-praiser or outright hater.

Palin Derangement Syndrome, I think.
