Yes. Actually Heinlein advocated JUST having veterans vote. I a a vet myself. However, knowing the Dems, they would pull something making it very easy (or even automatic) to become a “vet”.
I like a system where you accumulate voting points for things like paying taxes and/or military service. Short of a System collapse & revolution, that will not happen though.
