Couer D’ Alene is a beautiful area - been through there many times on the way to Montana for family weddings, visits, funerals. The Couer D’ Alene Resort is very pretty and has a cool golf area on an island.
I’ve visited Spokane a few times; went to Cat Tails and also down to Pullman to Ferdinand’s and had ice cream. Happened to be March; before we got there a snowstorm started. Ate quickly and made our way back to Spokane. About Colfax, snow ended and had full sun rest of the way back.
Visited Coeur d’Alene as well. Old Mission State Park in Idaho; also toured an abandoned mine (don’t remember name or exactly where).
