Vice President Joe Biden on Friday indicated that he was disappointed in Donald Trump's taco bowl tweet on Cinco de Mayo, and said that he hopes the presumptive Republican nominee begins to talk more seriously about the issues.
“He's a smarter guy than this," Biden told Fox 5 DC. "I hope he reaches the point where he figures out that it’s not a game show and that he begins to talk in earnest about where he would take the country."
"Because that is the kind of debate the public deserves. I know Hillary [Clinton] or Bernie [Sanders], if he is the nominee, will do that," he continued. "But the American public deserves genuine a debate at this moment in our history on the direction of the country — whether we continue the direction we are on and moving forward or are we making a significant change. I’m not sure he knows."
Yep. Old foot in the mouth Biden thinks he can tell Trump what he ought to say? Seriously?
Probably the single smartest thing Biden has ever said.

It is hilarious Biden thinks the Dems are hurting him by talking “game show” nonsense. Trump is obviously in on the joke by the picture in that tweet.
I’m not seeing any big deal here. It’s dumb for a Presidential candidate, but all the candidates have been an array of dumb this year. Other than that, nothing.
At the link with the taco bowl, this comment caught me:
“Maybe Trump really is trolling the GOP like some ongoing orange faced Sasha Baron Cohen performance piece.”
There is a delicious aspect of truth to this, but, like the audacity of Obama waltzing into the White House, Trump is Obama’s alter ego in just about every way. He will undo a lot of “wrong,” while tweaking his opponents every step of the way.
Folks, this is a great way to live a life!
Trump made a fool of himself, again. I also see where he wants to raise the mim wage, in addition to raising my taxes. Some pro Trump pundit called Trump a “centrist”. Is that like a RINO, or to the left of one?
But he sure stuck it to The Establishment.
Once again I thank Trump for exposing the way the left views the world.
To most Americans, eating a Taco Salad is a non-controversial event. To the left it means you are either a racist, bigot, or appropriating someone else culture (which ever one gets them the most air play).
Personally I am sick of it.
I preferred the America that was a melting pot, and those from other cultures assimilated in the American way of life and for their part shared the best of what they left behind.
Which is why ethnic food is enjoyed by most of us as well as celebrating many fun “holidays” such as St Patrick’s day and Cinco De Mayo.
As Freud once said, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
