You’re right. It’s almost like the liberal elites in the press have chosen sides...

It is very difficult to watch Hillary in action, speaking to a bunch of programmed sheep. Her voice is extremely annoying. Did you ever try to talk to a Hillary supporter?
They all hate Sanders or hate Trump. They are full of anger. Too much out of control emotion is present.

Yes I do and have come to wonder just how much BS on FNC is all about selling ads not representing the truth.

The liberal elites are fighting for a few people to watch, to get some ratings to sell some commercials, to people easy to manipulate.

Brit just said that Paul Ryan is a true-blue conservative.

Ryan is no conservative. He said the Gang of 8 bill was not amnesty and went around with Gutierrez supporting it; he supports TPA and TPP; he voted for TARP; and he passed the Omnibus bill that increased the national debt by $2 trillion and lifted the spending caps. Ryan has aided and abetted the Obama agenda.

This from the Thinker on how zeros iran policy/agreement was based on a fiction/script writers views.Anyone surprised?

The David Samuels’ Report.

In the New York Times Sunday Magazine, Samuels details how Ben Rhodes, a script writer, author of the Beloit Journal fiction piece titled “The Goldfish Smiles, You Smile Back,” and brother of CBS president David Rhodes, a man with zero foreign policy experience, shaped and promoted the president’s foreign policy narratives. Samuels observes: “His lack of conventional real-world experience of the kind that normally precedes responsibility for the fate of nations -- like military or diplomatic service, or even a master's degree in international relations, rather than creative writing -- is still startling." (In this respect, of course, he matches the president’s foreign policy background: None.)

The article details how these two shaped and spun make-believe about the facts and their policies and with the aid of a supine press and a number of think tanks and social media outlets helped propagate the false narratives these two wove out of their fantasies. If it weren’t so serious, it would make a great Mel Brooks movie plot.

The two begin their campaign to get a deal with Iran by persuading their patsies that there was a moderate wing of the Iranian government and their purported deal would strengthen that (nonexistent) wing and end “decades of animosity”.

In Samuels’ words:

By obtaining broad public currency for the thought that there was a significant split in the regime, and that the administration was reaching out to moderate-minded Iranians who wanted peaceful relations with their neighbors and with America, Obama was able to evade what might have otherwise been a divisive but clarifying debate over the actual policy choices that his administration was making.

By eliminating the fuss about Iran’s nuclear program, the administration hoped to eliminate a source of structural tension between the two countries, which would create the space for America to disentangle itself from its established system of alliances with countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel and Turkey. With one bold move, the administration would effectively begin the process of a large-scale disengagement from the Middle East.

Brit Hume thinks Paul Ryan is still a hero for conservatives. Boy is he out of touch.

Once again,Ryan seemingly had a huge transformation after "a weekend at Bernies" spent with Mitt Romney. Before going into the weekend Ryan had publically stated that he wanted no part of the speakers job and after the weekend he was all in. Twice again:

I ask"

At what price was he bought?

Wasn't that something? And Todd was so proud of it that he announced at the intro that the Repubs would be scarfing down Bloody Mary's after viewing his home run interview. I thought it was almost comical.

Hume is not connected with the average Fox watcher. He has drifted away in a retirement community in Florida. It is almost like they deliberately sent him out to pasture. He comes in a couple times a week to enlighten everyone with his political wisdom. His comments do not sound like wisdom. Most of what he says we cannot even remember.

Hannity is rising to astronomical levels as is Laura Ingraham and Savage is an untold brilliant talker who comes up with brilliant gems from time to time. The three are enough to keep talk radio alive.

Presenting the unvarnished truth can do that to a career.

That is what propelled Rush.

Currently there is a huge struggle going on in his mind. I don't know what connection he has with Cruz or some of the other DC power brokers, but it seems he took the wrong fork, went deep up the trail, and now realizes he is on the wrong ridge, eyeing the right one in the horizon.

If he does not find his way back to the trail soon, he will be hiking in circles for a long time.

I have sent Paul Ryan a few e-mails. Guess he thinks I am an admirer of his! This is what I got today from him. Comment section is pretty amusing.

Still can’t get over Stepie’s comment that Bill should be off limits because he is the spouse. That is the height of media spin. An ex-President who is the only reason she is getting votes should be off limits. Unbelievable.

Agree. I can remember in 1992, Bill was saying that we were getting a twofer for President, him and Hillary. She has been drafting off his coattails forever. Her carpetbagger stint as Senator from NY was based on being the First Lady, wife of Bill. The NY Dems paved the way for her to step right into a sure win job. The Senate job led to her run for the WH, which was temporarily derailed by Obama who gave her the SecState job to burish her resume.

She is a lousy candidate who is having a hard time beating Bernie, a political unknown.

Hillary was Bill's enabler with his serial affairs/rapes. She destroyed the other women as part of her strategy to deal with Bimbo eruptions. Now she claims to be a defender of women. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
