What in the hell is going on in this country with the politics?
I just channel flipped across Fox, MSNBC, and CNN (9:30 am Mountain time).
Fox had a panel blasting Trump for tweeting himself eating a taco bowl when he wants to deport all the illegals. Gee if I remember we still ate sauerkraut during WWII. And then one of the panel said there is no such thing as a taco bowl. I guess here in New Mexico I have to stop eating taco bowls because they do not exist.
Then the panel on MSNBC wanted to know what the big deal was with a couple hundred white guys losing their job in West Virginia. These miners are a miniscule number compared to the rest of the country so who cares.
And lastly CNN panel was asking how Trump could be the nominee when he only got 38% of the votes in the primaries. Stop and think if 38% of the Republican votes are more than any Republican candidate has gotten in the primaries during the last 30 years, look at all those 62% that did not vote for him. That means that probably there were millions of Republicans who must have voted several times in these primaries.

Let’s keep things in perspective. People die every day trying to steal into the U.S. Meanwhile, in places like Haiti, people are dropping dead of starvation, disease, and exposure every day. They are trying to live. We are trying to decide which life style we want. Perspective, people.
Remember, there’s a reason the TV comes first in TV news. They fund themselves the same way sitcoms do, they sell your eyeballs to advertisers. The goal is NOT to inform or educate, but to get you to stick around through the break. One of the best things you can do in your life is to never, ever, tune to ANY news channel or program ever again. You’ll find life a lot more relaxing, and you’ll be able to use that time to actually be informed.
Oh and taco bowls exist, obviously, but they aren’t Mexican. Neither are chimichangas. Or nachos. Or Cinco de Mayo really, except for the province where the battle happened. And it really wasn’t a very good photo-op for Trump. It just looked goofy, and advertising the restaurant in his building made it all seem pretty disingenuous.

The Left has made the calculation that there are far fewer working, white collar/blue collar White males than there are illegals, women, welfare recipients, Millennial pajama boys, and gays.
That calculation is correct.
So the Left doesn’t give a flip about coal miners or anyone else engaged in productive work. With a defeat of Donald Trump this November the Left’s work, and the Republic, will be all but finished.

Last night I made spaghetti and meatballs, and I’m not even Italian.

Remember the scene from `Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ where traveling salesman/drummer John Candy and insufferable corporate snob Steve Martin are traveling on a bus?
They decide to have a sing-a-long. Martin tries `Three Coins In a Fountain,’ which falls flat. Then Candy belts out a TV sitcom theme song and everyone enthusiastically joins in. It’s something like that.

A tempest in a teapot. People need to lighten up. The MSM and the Dems are looking for anything to ridicule and belittle Trump. It didn’t work. Trump did nothing wrong and was having some fun. Not one vote will be affected either way.
