Yes...I always wondered why everyone thought she was great, but thought it was me.
The best part of that book is its catchy title.
It's the book everyone knew was supposed to be great - after all, the critics all said so.
But after reading it few (if any) could understand why it was supposed to be great.
Most were afraid to tell their intellectual friends "I don't get it." so just looked thoughtful and agreed it is a great book.

Sadly, I saw Elysium.. It was part of a triple feature at the movies. She can’t act or even get an accent straight. I don’t know how she became so famous as an actress.
She was a child actor who was very comfortable in front of the camera, as was Drew Barrymore.
She made a lot of friends in the business, and probably demonstrated a fair amount of professionalism, making her a low-worry hire for parts that suited her.
Other than that, I agree with you.
Agreed. I think she’s a good actress and very pretty, but it’s difficult to accept her in many roles.
