SARAH PALIN Announces She Will Work to Defeat Paul Ryan in Primary

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced on Sunday she will work to defeat Paul Ryan in his Republican primary.

This came after Ryan would not endorse the Republican nominee Donald Trump for president. On Thursday Republican Speaker Paul Ryan told Jake Tapper on CNN he was “not ready” to endorse Donald Trump yet.

Donald Trump won the GOP nomination on Tuesday after his landslide victory in Indiana.

Palin told Jake Tapper she believes Ryan will soon be “Cantored.”

CNN reported:

Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, the former Alaska governor told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Palin said in an interview that airs Sunday on “State of the Union” that her decision was sparked by Ryan’s bombshell announcement to Tapper last week that he wasn’t yet ready to support Donald Trump, the Republican presumptive nominee. Palin endorsed Trump back in January.

“I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ as in Eric Cantor,” Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.

“His political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people, and as the leader of the GOP, the convention, certainly he is to remain neutral, and for him to already come out and say who he will not support is not a wise decision of his,” Palin continued.

It will be interesting to see who the Cruz supporters will endorse in this race.

I do hope I’m wrong about Sarah’s credibility being destroyed by the evil left. I hope she can help Donald.

I agree with Sarah, what Ryan did was totally out of touch and more in line with pleasing Romney. What he should have said was simply, I look forward to meeting with Trump next week and then zipped it. His equivocation was a deer in the headlights mistake - told me he wasn’t ready for prime time.

She making a big move here to go rogue against Ryan Could elevate her if she is successful or finish her for good if Ryan pulls it out

I'm silling to bet that Ryan gets on his hands and knees and apologizes to Trump and begs that he calls Palin off. He'll emerge from the Thursday meeting with Trump wearing a Red cap and a I'm for Trump cheerleader outfit.

Its unavoidable to project your own opinions and preferences on to others. Because he rubbed you the wrong way, or whatnot, you have made the mistake of assuming that condition for all of the potential Republican primary voters.

And, you may have been influenced by her lack of success with a Cruz crown in Wisconsin this Spring.

Not so.

Palin is a well loved and respected figure most everywhere except the MSM and the libtards who think that she is susceptible to ridicule.

Here is what Newsweek said about her in January:

“Regardless of one’s view of Palin and her suitability for high (or any) office, she draws both big crowds and hysterical press attention. Her involvement in an event guarantees coverage, even if it’s not necessarily of the most flattering kind. Much of Trump’s success has been built on a template very similar to her own post-2008 style: a potent blend of old-style political populism and inflammatory outbursts on any number of sensitive issues.

In this regard, she may be able to do a rather better job for Trump than she’s ever done for herself. Whereas Palin’s dismal grasp of policy all but destroyed her national reputation even on the right, Trump so far seems largely immune to criticism for his endless gaffes—meaning Palin isn’t quite the liability she might be for any other candidate.”

Mia would fit in with the Dims

UT-04: Freshman Republican Rep. Mia Love quite clearly does not know how to run a professional congressional operation. For the second time this year, Love has been forced to reimburse the treasury for travel expenses improperly billed to taxpayers, and has compounded her errors by utterly failing to offer any sort of consistent explanations for her actions. In the most recent incident, as the National Journal's Jack Fitzpatrick explains, Love received reimbursements for two plane tickets she booked on back-to-back days in February, even though she only flew once.

How freaking sad is that? Love reacted very poorly when confronted over a similar debacle that also featured improper billing and shifting excuses back in September. This time, Love is trying to stiff-arm reports by issuing a statement, but with the stiffer-than-expected challenge she's facing from Democrat Doug Owens, she's unlikely to get off without better answers.

Can’t wait to hear Rush’s take on this today. On second thought, he’ll probably just ignore it.
