Looks like FBI is closing ranks to pressure Lynch...of course only ‘former’ agents can be so candid, without retribution.

No no no no no... gross negligence is not a crime- what she did WAS ILLEGAL

Are they trying to downplay this? or am I misreading this?

Maybe exhibiting gross negligence with national security documents IS the crime? And they are signalling it.

The question everyone needs to ask is ...
What would they do to any soldier , sailor , airman or marine that did the same thing ?

The next question everyone needs to ask is ... How many of our soldiers , sailors , airmen and marines have been murdered because of this security breach ?

...former FBI agent...

Well former agent... the FBI has changed since you left, and there are new guidelines in place now. One of those new guidelines states that Hillary (nor Obama or anyone else on his list of accomplices/friends) are touchable by the law.

So... there you have it. You can reminisce if you like about the good old days when justice used to be blind, but those days are gone.

“Gross Negligence” is a phrase that is important to an espionage case.

Our girl Hillary is in deep trouble.

She’s just destroying the Democrat Party.

In this context, gross negligence IS a crime.

18 U.S. Code § 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information

(f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

Here’s a potential scenario as I see it (hope I’m wrong)
The FBI will make their case although with very weak charges.
The Just Us Dept will signal there isnt enough ‘weight’ to move forward to prosecute. Clinton skates but the FBI ‘did its job’ and the left stream media will celebrate. The corruptible stink from DC will be smelt by anyone with half a brain except the gullible morons and immoral hacks who vote DemRat.

Guess everyone knew that Hitlary had demonstrated “Gross negligence” but our main concern is when the hell is the FBI going to bring forth their case against “the beast”? My guess is NEVER. Bastards all working to protect each other.

Until I hear this from a present FBI agent speaking officially, this is all just re-hashed noise.

“Gross Negligence” is a phrase that is important to an espionage case.

This isn't an espionage case, and you discredit the investigation by calling it that. Clinton may have "sold secrets", but even she isn't stupid enough to leave around evidence of it.

Setting aside the potential for conflict of interest (the donations to the Clinton Foundation while she was SoS), this is really about her failure to safeguard the secrets that were entrusted to her. That's "gross negligence", not espionage (which requires intent).

Clinton is trying to misrepresent it as "not marked classified" (it doesn't matter), and as "mistakes were made" (an admission of guilt, in this case). But, only a relative handful of people have worked in the national security field, and know it's a smokescreen. She is counting on the media to carry her water and convince the rest of her version of the "truth".

Even if Lynch opts to not indict Hillary, you can bet the FBI’s final report, or key excerpts from it will be leaked. SOME of Hillary’s voters will be voters no more. Hillary’s dirty dealings via her Foundation might make her classified material handling crimes pale in comparison.

Indeed, gross neg. IS a crime in this regard. I believe those are the exact words in the statute. And that is a VERY VERY VERY GOOD thing, because INTENT is absolutely irrelevant. Proving gross neg. is a BILLION times easier than proving intent.

She knew perfectly well what she was doing.

She did this to cover the trail of her numerous criminal and illegal transactions.

First of all, the FBI is an apolitical organization that has nothing to do with politics.

Second of all, everything said above is pure bullsh*t.
