I'm a little late to the discussion, but you seem to be confused between a monster donor, one who donated 13 million dollars in one primary campaign, and one who most often gives less than $2500, $10,000 when he gets excited, and I believe once gave $100,000.

The one kind of donor often demands major payback, the other is trying to get access and a little help from being totally taken out by whoever they donate to.

I understand the difference between the two. I still think that both instances are giving more money to the dems than should be given.
