False choice. Bush was a disaster. That doesn’t mean someone preferred Gore. That’s the whole point of this article. We get choices between a full leftist like Gore, and someone 75% leftist like Bush who comes in new “traditional America” flavor.

Wasn’t a big fan of either choice. But I certainly picked Bush over Gore. Republicans have done a poor job nominating their candidates.

And we would be much better off today if Pat Buchanan had been nominated instead of GHW Bush.
