Shouldn’t America have trademark protection?
To: Kaslin
Nothing like drinking a Belgian-owned beer to inspire good old-fashioned American patriotism!

They’d be better off changing it to “horsepiss”. Truth in advertising and all that.

At least sticking E Pluribus Unum on the can accurately advises the consumer that the Bavarian Purity Law is not followed here.

Nice commercials though, right?

In that font and under the ownership in InBev (a Belgian/Brazilian mega sized beverage conglomerate) it will most certainly be a protected trademark. I’m just appalled to see the good name of America associated with soda water disguised as beer.

Isn’t it Belgian/Brazilian jointly owned?
I know the CEO is a Brazilian national.
To: Kaslin
Sales will collapse in blue states.
To: nascarnation
I’ll tell you the one thing it isn’t: American.

I remember seeing young German tourists buying six packs of generic beer (marked BEER) at a grocery store and asked them why. They basically told me, what difference does it make?
I think our beer has improved since then though,
