I have supported Trump since he announced. Sen. Cruz was a worthwhile opponent. I think that he lost his race when he allowed the #NeverTrump crowd to hitch their baggage to his campaign. For all that was reported, Cruz did not lay out his vision for the country but only told potential voters how bad his opponent was... Not a good way to run a campaign.

The press asks Sen. Cruz every other day about his support/non-support for Trump. Quite frankly, I would dodge the question too. It is just reporters trying to gin up controversy. Let some time pass. It was a brutal campaign for both sides. Trump ended up the winner. He congratulated Sen. Cruz for a hard fought campaign. Cruz has been through an emotional wringer with extreme highs and lows.

During the campaign I slammed Cruz as a Trump supporter as others here also, but THAT campaign is over-—it is DONE. It does no one any good to re-hash it, re-fight it and continue its battle. The war has moved on to other fronts. Let Sen. Cruz nurse his wounds and get his feet back. In time we all will see if he is able to offer something toward the betterment of the nation besides talking a good talk.

And do you expect that to be some one other than trump?

Don’t try to mischaractize what I posted.

My point was that the GOP will not have a nominee until the ballot at the convention, so Cruz has not reneged on his pledge to support the nominee.

The only thing that can be done is for him to have a terrible, terrible opponent like Wendy Davis. I don’t want to vote for him again for anything.

Well, it’s good to see that Cruz is going to be once again doing the job he is being paid for.

Cruz missed every single Senate vote in April and May (so far), and 94.7% of the votes from January through March of 2016.

Hope he doesn’t blow it.

He has already blown it IMHO. I am hoping Dan Patrick or Greg Abbott takes him out. Dewhurst maybe, George P never.

I asked you a question. Answer it do you expect the nominee to be some one other than trump?

There was no characterization of what you said

I think I heard Cruz hasn’t graced the Senate with his presence since January.

If he says he won’t support the republican nominee he will forfeit his delagates.

Cruz is hoping to run in 2020, so his hope is Trump loses, he is a small minded self centered moron.

Trumps win means he and other Mittwitts cannot run until 2024.

Had Trump not come on the scene, we would be lamenting about presumptive nominee Jeb Bush!! Cruz would barely be on the radar. Only reason we was was because Trump cleared everyone else out.

Ted Cruz simply has no interest in unifying the party and he will pay a price for his tantrums.

Cruz's Party is Wall Street...He does not represent we, the people...We've thrown him out but he won't leave...Yet...

“Cruz is stirring the pot with the intention of setting up a divisive fight at the convention. Over the platform, presumably.”

Word on the street is saying that Cruz and Ryan are working on rules of Convention changes to deny Trump the nomination.

Given the behavior of each, I don’t find that hard to believe. If they release delegates from their original pledge, Trump could well be in peril. Cruz & company are still buying delegates behind the scenes.

Cruz has no intention of doing the honorable thing.
