His approach to the ever increasing flood of foreign invaders was threefold: 1, ‘secure’ the border, whatever that means [even Jeb favored ‘securing’ the border]. 2, Mass legalization. 3, Soccer balls and teddy bears. At no time did Cruz even approach admitting that a country under never-ending siege by hostile foreign invaders was a lost country. It just wasn’t a matter of urgency to him.
