Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney blasted Donald Trump on Wednesday after his successor hinted that it is unlikely he will release his tax returns before the November election.
"It is disqualifying for a modern-day presidential nominee to refuse to release tax returns to the voters, especially one who has not been subject to public scrutiny in either military or public service," Romney wrote in Facebook post.
"There is only one logical explanation for Mr. Trump's refusal to release his returns," he wrote Wednesday. "There is a bombshell in them. Given Mr. Trump's equanimity with other flaws in his history, we can only assume it's a bombshell of unusual size."

Romney is a liar. He said Trump inherited his business from his father. Romney knows Trump built his multi-billion business with a LOAN of $1 million from his father. Trump was worth billions before his father died.

Trump should not release his taxes. They are too big. Too complicated. And there is no way that the democrats and the media wouldn’t spend the next 6 months misrepresenting them.
That’s how Obama got elected. He kept making rich people release documents when he didn’t. Obama had no problem releasing his taxes, he had no taxes. But Trump has K9s, and LLCs. He has taxes in several foreign countries and several states. I had a smaller company and my tax returns were 2 inches think. I am sure Trumps are like an encyclopaedia.
IIRC, Romney only released his well after he was nominee when Reid repeatedly taunted him about it.
