Agreed. I'll be watching carefully to see if Ryan, or anyone involved in todays meetings repudiate Romney. Only true measure that they are on board the Trump train IMHO.

Stupid GOP establishment. The optics of Trump going to Washington just devastates the establishment.
Trump needs to come out strong and make sure people that support his America first agenda are in key positions. Not people who have an agenda of party first.

I share your rebellious attitude, but Trump knows he hasn’t quite seized complete control over the party at this point, and understands that he’s in the negotiation phase with those who, for now, still hold the reins of power.
This is high level, high stakes stuff, which Trump excels at. Everyone concerned knows that he’s the incoming CEO, and that they’ve got to make peace with him, or start emptying their desks.
By convention time, the Washington herd will be lined up in neat, orderly columns behind him.
