indeed, this was the plan all along, produce a plan that is destined to fail, then they shall just keep tweeking it to get one they really want. Our enemy is patient, they just keep eroding our country bit by bit, as we ALLOW then their small concessions...we are doomed.
My prediction is Public Option within 18 months, Single Payer within five years. They will slowly bleed down the private insurance sector to a handful of companies, then offer golden parachutes to their execs to run-up the white flags.
