Hasn’t affirmative action already more than paid any reparations justly necessary?
The descendants of the enslaved need to adopt the principles of Western Civilization and go to work. The opportunities are there.

The hundreds of thousand who died in the Civil war are ALL the reparations needed.
When are blacks going to do something about the millions living TODAY that are in the slave and sex trade? Nothing. It’s not about slavery, it’s about more handouts. Because handouts are never enough.

I am totally in favor of reparations. Take away all food stamps, welfare, obamaphones, obamacare, etc., and give each former slave family 40 acres and a mule and tell them to support themselves with it.

Reparations for what?
No one alive today owned any slaves bought any slave sold any slaves. Unless they are muslims that moved her from the middle east.
Maybe they should consider decade upon decade of welfare as reparations!
I concur with that reasoning. You can have reparations, or not. Either way you’ll be signing a document absolving any future reparations.
If you take it...you get a certain amount of money. Let’s say...$25k. And a one way ticket to the African country of your choice, with citizenship. And you sign a document in perpetuity that you, and your descendants may not re-enter the United States.
If you don’t take it...you still sign something saying that all is counted square, and you go on with your life otherwise.
You have got to be kidding me. What more do we have to give these people to atone for something that has been paid for with treasure and blood for over 150 years already. Does it even matter. These “slaves”, from the term Slavic, have been free for a century and a half and still can’t get there “stuff” together. Blame, blame blame.
