Cruz won the “very conservative” vote over Trump. Trump won the “conservative”. This poll includes Kasich supporters in the non-Trump group. I don’t think you need to worry about Cruz supporters’ mental health.
I thought so.
I consider myself VERY conservative and just want Trump to enact the major portions of his plans - deport, wall, no Muslims, and bring companies back.
All the rest just don’t matter in comparison to doing something that will fix this country NOW before it is too late.
Cruz’s policies were fine - but he was very late in talking about deportation and the wall. In fact, in the beginning he skirted around the amnesty issue. NOBODY talked about a wall until Trump - it was just a fence before then.
If Cruz wouldn’t talk about it, he certainly wouldn’t do it when faced with any opposition.
But Trump is a fighter, is brave, is not PC - and would be the most likely to turn things around, IMO. So this very conservative woman was 100% for Trump when he started talking deportation and the wall. And it just got better from there.
