I’m tempted to go the National Review Online and troll this bit of news!!! I find the purer-than-thou, anti-Trump conservatives very amusing. Granted, a conservative argument can be made about Trump, but the “intellectuals” at NRO are so vitriolic they come across as ridiculous.

I understand where Cruz folks are coming from. My beef is with the DC "conservatives" like Ryan who are pretending they don't like Trump because he's too liberal. BS. Yeah, he is liberal on a few things, but that's not why they hate him. I mean, they don't hate Clinton or Sanders nearly as much as they hate Trump, and they're uber-liberal. They're terrified that they're not going to have the luxury of playing pretend conservative anymore under a President Trump.
